RED HOT MORON

Sometimes, I seriously don't understand what's wrong with people! Why do people act the way that they do? Can it be a chemical imbalance in their brains? Take Amanda Sorensen from southern California for example. She's currently under arrest in connection with the death of a 2-year-old baby girl who suffered a seizure after ingesting some chili powder. According to one news source, 21-year-old Sorensen forced the child to eat the chili powder as punishment. Who does that? And why would you ever need to punish a two-year old? They barely even know what they're doing. I mean I know about the terrible twos and all, but forcing chili powder down its throat? Come on!

A spokeswoman with the San Bernardino County Sheriff said that the investigation was ongoing and refused to confirm or deny the discipline report. Sorensen from Apple Valley was taken into custody on Monday for suspicion of child abuse resulting in death. The child was the daughter of her boyfriend. So, wait a minute! The child wasn't even hers and she was punishing the child. What is wrong with people? Authorities were said to have responded to a report of a child suffering from a seizure. Police from Apple Valley rushed to the residence at 4:16 pm on Sunday and transported the child to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead. An autopsy still needs to be performed to determine the exact cause of death, but early Monday, Sorensen was indeed arrested and booked for the baby's death.

I just don't understand how people think sometimes. Maybe I give humanity too much credit. Why would anyone want to punish a two-year-old to a point where they die? Why would anyone want to punish a two-year-old at all? To make matters even worse, the child wasn't even hers. Now, that is sick! I think this is grounds for a break up! What do you think? People make me sick!

  1. Personally, I blame technology for these people's ignorance. Before cellphones and the internet existed, people were decent with each other. They were taught by their parents, relatives, school, and house of faith to be careful about what they say or do. Now, people tweet their grievances and let the world know that they can't count their blessings. Are social niceties fading, or evolving? Your two cents on this, Tim? >http://www.smh.com.au/opinion/society-and-culture/social-niceties-a-burden-or-blessing-in-the-digital-age-20120901-2571f.html
